Response from the CSO to the Accra Agenda for Action

According to the recent Second Steering Group to the Accra Agenda for Action, the CSO conclude that there is still a lack of clarity and effectiveness of donors commitments. The main criticisms are related to the lack of concrete commitments and the ambiguity of targets. In this paper the CSO claim for more specific and better monitoring systems. Finally as the main recommendation, the CSO consider that there are  seven key issues to be tackled, such as: The democratic ownership, transparency and accountability, conditionality (tied aid), technical assistance, predictability and fragile states.  For more information please read the complete report in the file attached below.
