Slovenian nongovernmental organizations in the file of sexual and reproductive health and rights are not working closely. Therefore, SLOGA workshop on sexual and reproductive health and rights have decided to bring together all NGO’s who deal with such issues to help organize main ideas for creation of successful campaigns and projects. SLOGA gave at the same time suggestion to workshop to have specific theme for certain period so that these themes change over time. The workshp has therefore came out with nine major themes which will be focus in the future. These themes are:
Human rights
Gender equality
Family violence
Trafficking of people
Save motherhood
Fertility
Sexual and reproductive health teenagers
Access to information of reproductive health system (contraceptives, abortion, breast cancer, etc)
To prevent sexual diseases and affections
SLOGA has gained good knowledge on sexual and reproductive health and rights from the organized seminar with the title: Influence of conflicts in sexual and reproductive health and rights’ which took place on 22nd November 2007. The aim of the seminar was to caution importance of sexual and reproductive health and rights among Slovenian public and to increase aid for sexual and reproductive health and rights in developing countries.
The seminar was an opportunity to meet Slovenian and European organizations, institutions from East Europe and Balkan. For more information, please see attached file
