European Conference "Intercultural Dialogue in Development Education”- the way towards the implementation of the European consensus on development – the contribution of development education and awareness raising"

was taking place on 9th - 10th June 2008, Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana (Slovenia)
 

The event was the main and final event of the SLOGA presidency program. It was organised in cooperation with the European NGO Confederation for Relief and Development, CONCORD, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Commision.

Year 2008 is the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue and the year of implementing the European Development Education Consensus. With this conference we introduced intercultural dialog as a new aspect of Development Education (DE).
